And hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. The reducing numbers in active Covid cases is testament that the majority of Victorians support and are prepared to follow the directions of the Health Authorities for the good of all of us. Let’s keep up the good work and hopefully Christmas might just be a very merry one.
Secrets in Summer
Like everyone we’re trying to find our way through the uncertainty of today’s world. We’ve been throwing fifteen balls in the air and hoping to catch at least one. Just when we think we can schedule a “hold in your hand” print copy of Secrets, someone moves the goal post and we have to throw those balls again. However, we are nothing if not eternally optimistic and despite not having a crystal ball, we reckon summer is the time.
We are currently working on a fresh looking Summer issue of Secrets to be released at the end of November. We can’t wait. One thing that has become very evident during these Covid days, is that we have missed showcasing our fabulous region. Can’t wait to be out there again. Watch this space!
Something to look forward to …

Meanwhile in Castlemaine

Buy Now – Stay Later
You’re stuck at home for now, but the prospect of a getaway is worth contemplating. This is an initiative of accommodation providers in Bendigo – and let’s face it, the Bendigo region is a great place to visit. Cheer Up With Bendigo’s Tulip Displays
While we are in strange times, Bendigo’s famed tulips can bring a bright spot to your days. As the warmer days and clear skies appear, more than 50,000 of Bendigo’s famed-tulips open to brighten the beautiful heritage streets from mid to late September to mid October. The annual Tulip display is along Pall Mall and the Conservatory Garden – open air, Covid conscious and a way to blow away the cobwebs. http://www.bendigoregion.com.au
