A town welcomes its new hub

Cristobal Balenciaga’s exquisite craftsmanship and pioneering use of fabrics revolutionised the female silhouette, setting the scene for modern design.  This exhibition organised by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, explores the work and legacy of this renowned couturier, one of the most innovative and influential fashion designers of the 20th century. https://bit.ly/333cRXV

Woven Landscape

Participants in this workshop will create a woven landscape using natural plant fibres. Learn how to gather prepare and store the plant fibres, how to set up the base on which to weave your landscape and learn the techniques of twining, reverse twining and weaving.  One day only 10am-5pm.  All weaving materials supplied.  There are some items you will need to take along.
