Normally at this stage in the new year we are starting to get back into the minutiae of work and getting kids ready for school, but this year, with only two weeks gone, life is anything but normal. No need to mention bushfires and fund raising and climate change, its a daily reality and will continue to be so for some time to come. The best way to describe how most of us are reacting is to use, possibly my favourite word – discombobulated. “Discombobulate is a fun, fancy word for “confuse.” If something has put you in a state where you don’t know up from down and you can’t spell your own name, you may be discombobulated.“
The jury is still out on who invented the pavlova – Australia or New Zealand, but it doesn’t matter, because this delicious little morsel is yummy no matter where it comes from. You can enjoy all the gorgeous morsels being offered at Bellinzona Resort’s Aussie themed High Tea on Australia Day. Spend the afternoon between 1pm & 3pm dining on a selection of savoury and decadent sweet treats inspired with an Aussie Twist. Includes a glass of bubbles.
