A promising new hub opens

“The emphasis isn’t necessarily on the drinking, but creating a public space.”  says Chantel Leaver, owner of Creswick’s new wine bar, Odessa at Leaver’s Hotel.  It started with a soft opening a couple of weeks ago, but will bang the drum louder once the kitchen is operational with chef Ben O’Brien at the helm, hopefully only a few weeks away.  This promises to be a hub of the town combining good food and drink with music and the arts.  In the meantime, Odessa at Leaver’s Hotel is open from 4 pm to 1 am, Thursday to Sunday.
