Cafe Sidra is worth the trip

This cafe is a sparkling beacon in a quiet little town on the Sunraysia Highway at Learmonth 20 minutes from Ballarat’s CBD.  Well worth a visit for the food, cider and coffee.  Makes a chilly weekend so much more pleasant.   At 321 High Street, Learmonth, check the website for opening hours and upcoming events.  http://www.cafesidra.com

WINTER WOOLIES ON THE TRAM

When it’s cold, you don a woollie jumper, so why not put one on a tram.  Bendigo Tramways 302 tram is the first tram in the world to be yarn bombed. It has become a tourist attraction in its own right when it runs every winter through Bendigo’s streets. The colourful, cosy tram has become quite the institution and the Yarn Bombers have had their work cut out for them. This year is going to be something even more special – six and a half metres of both sides of the tram will be covered in crocheted squares, more than ever before.  Phone the Bendigo Tramway in advance for the schedule of the Yarn Bomb Tram.  Running from July 28, to September 29, 2018 10:00am – 4:00pm https://bit.ly/2LOVQHW
