FINNISH DESIGN
The Bendigo Art Gallery has a new international exhibition opening this weekend, featuring the modernist designs of a famous Finnish textile company. Marimekko: Design Icon 1951 to 2018 will be at the Bendigo Art Gallery 3 March to 11 June. www.bendigoartgallery.com.au/

POP UP VINTAGE
For fans of vintage 50s fashion, Laurina Jean Retro is running a pop up shop in Ballarat from Friday 2 March to Sunday March 4. Arts Open is a fantastic event taking place over two weekends, where artists in the Mount Alexander Shire will be opening their doors. YOUNG TALENT

THE OFFSHORE ISLAND
The Mount Players are based in the beautiful town of Macedon. Their new play The Offshore Island is set in England around ten years after a nuclear explosion, with a widow and her two children who live in an isolated valley that has remained safe. A FESTIVAL OF PUMPKINS
