Grand Final Weekend Plant Sale – Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens

Footy is almost over and it’s time to get into the garden.  The Friends of the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens in Daylesford is holding their Grand Final Weekend Plant sale on Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October from 9am to 2pm at the Potting Shed in the gardens.  Lots of quality, budget priced plants available.

Romancing The Skull

Something for the diary.  The upcoming exhibition at Art Gallery Ballarat is a fascinating and fun celebration of all things related to the skull.  Starting on 14th October and running through to January, 2018.  Visitors with a real skull tattoo can gain entry for just $10, provided it can be shown without offending public decency.

Preserving Creswick is a quirky new cafe in town.

For a great coffee, easy snack and a growing range of regional products this quirky little cafe opposite the Visitor Information Centre also has some antique treasures just waiting to be picked up.  It’s a work in progress and a fun place to visit.  Open Thur/Fri 11am to 3pm Sat/Sun 11am to 5pm.
