Hot Air balloons from Balloons Victoria gathered at Cave Hill Creek accommodation, event and outdoor recreation venue located near Beaufort on the weekend of 11th & 12th August. Sorry, you missed it unless you were looking in the skies around 7am each day, but we thought the images by Donna Crebbin were so stunning we had to give it a “heads up”. The balloons were participating in the 25th annual flying weekend, this year at Beaufort. Check out what Cave Hill Creek has to offer at http://www.cavehillcreek.com.au

Bendigo Tramways 302 tram is the first tram in the world to be yarn bombed. It has become a tourist attraction in its own right when it runs every winter through Bendigo’s streets.
The colourful, cosy tram has become quite the institution and the Yarn Bombers have had their work cut out for them. This year is going to be something even more special – six and a half metres of both sides of tram will be covered in crocheted squares, more than ever before. This is the last weekend the tram will be running, so phone the Bendigo Tramway in advance for the schedule of the Yarn Bomb Tram.
