This is the 21st year of what started out as the Kyneton Antique Fair, but changed its name to the Kyneton Antique & Vintage Fair 3 years ago. Vintage has become quite a buzz word especially for the younger collector and fashionistas.
Once again the Historic Kyneton Town Hall in Mollison Street is hosts the Fair on the first weekend in September where a great mix of antiques and vintage dealers will be selling anything from a thimble to a grandfather clock and everything in between. If it is the latest vintage trend, be it clothing, jewellery, homewares or so much more, you will probably find it in this ‘one stop shop’. The Kyneton Antique & Vintage Fair is the major fundraiser for the Friends of the Kyneton Museum and all funds raised help with conservation of items as well as development of projects at the beautiful Kyneton Museum in historic Piper Street.
There will be a choice of excellent lunch fare, including delectable baked goods and home made soup at the Rotary Club of Kyneton Country Kitchen in the Richardson Room inside the Town Hall. Admission is $7 adult – children accompanied by an adult free. Still the BEST TICKET IN TOWN!
