This is something for all passionate artists - established and burgeoning. The Daylesford Rotary Art Show is inviting entries for their 2012 show to be held from 2nd to 5th November.
Entries close on Friday 26th October and each artist may enteer up to six paintings – entry fees apply. Eight prizes are on offer in the following categories – Best in Show, Best Modern, Best Traditional, Best Drawing, Best 9 inch x 5 inch (in the old language) Landscape painting, Best Historic or Heritage Building painting, Best Daylesford Landscape painting reflecting the Seasons of Daylesford, Peoples Choice Award. There has to be something in there to suit all artists.
Now in its 28th year, the Daylesford Art show has become one of the town’s major community events and attracts a very strong following with the 2011 event being named the most successful regional art show in Victoria. For more information contact karenmoloney@bigpond.com
