Your Stars for Summer
If we begin summer at the first of December, then Sagittarius will start the southern hemisphere summer zodiac. If we believe the summer solstice starts the summer then Capricorn is our beginning sign. This leaves Sagittarius in a cross over place. Is it a spring or a summer sign? Like all the mutable signs it is the last sign before we cross over into new seasons, they all have this duality of season about them.
Sagittarius has been quiet this year but it’s a great sign for summer because it loves outdoor activity. With an eclipse on the Gemini full moon, on Dec 11, Sag may feel like they are back in action. The full moon period may bring up conversations or ideas that have been left to lie but Sagittarius doesn’t look back much anyway.
Gemini will have the full effect of this full moon, especially if you are born around 8th to 12th of June. Gemini busy mind may be on overload. Remember you don’t have to actually do everything that you think about. The fun is in the creative ideas, the exhaustion is in thinking you have to do them all today.
Capricorn seems so serious to hold such traditional celebratory times as Christmas and New Year. If I was celebrating I wouldn’t think to invite a room full of Capricorns, maybe to organise it for me. Well Jesus is a Capricorn, so for Capricorn bring out your messiah complexes. We know you do love tradition.
Cancer you are overshadowed by your opposites Capricorn. In the case of Christmas though, the family, the food and the sharing of the love should suit you fine. Of course you will be the ones trying to clear all the family turmoil.
Aquarius marks the restart of back into the grind after our summer holidays. It is usually the hottest and most dangerous time for bushfires in Victoria. The powerful force of the wind that often comes from the north symbolises the powerful but sometimes out of control Aquarian mind. Aquarius is never short of big thought but can we get the ideas on the ground.
Leo can lie down, tan in the sun and enjoy the time out over summer. Not one to be bothered by the heat, Leo will find plenty to do, love the parties and catch up with friends.
Pisces lets head to the sea, your home away from home. The sea has a wonderful unconscious effect on Pisces. The everyday and the inner way just all move in motion with the ocean. With Neptune almost ready to re-enter and stay in Pisces for quite some years the vacation in the imagery or vision world revitalises you beyond belief.
Virgos, who are always full of wriggling discomfort will be more so due to Mars moving through your sign, not only in a forward motion but turning back on itself in retrograde motion all summer. Oh dear. Watch out for rashes, or prickle heat or just can’t sit down. This is a time to get things done, don’t be distracted by heat related excuses.
Aries is ready to explode. Uranus has arrived and liberate or rebel is your catch cry. For bogged down Aries pioneers it will all be too much, the courage to break free will be accessed. For already free spirit Aries it’s the time to revel in the undo-able, showcase just what a courageous warrior can achieve.
Libra, well Saturn is dribbling into the late degrees of your sign, just affecting those born from 16th to 23rd of October. The rest of you should be very well organised for Libra, ready to move into 2012 with new structures in place. You probably feel more grounded than you have in years. Well done.
Taurus still has the benefit of Jupiter so as you become richer by the minute you also could become fatter as well. Food and indulgence is really on the menu, Jupiter has travelled right back to the beginning of Taurus just to start you off all over again. Jupiter, Taurus, Christmas oh the mind boggles- beautifully wrapped presents fill your newly renovated sun room while the house fills with the smell of roast turkey. Santa not only drops by, you have a voluptuous romp in the spa by the Christmas tree. Happy Christmas.
Scorpio due to your opposite placement to Taurus you can sponge off a bit of the indulgence from across the wheel. Nothing much else seems to be happening. Maybe you dont want to spend Christmas by yourself this year. The company of others may actually fill you with optimism for the coming 2012.
Happy Christmas, and may you use the summer to inspire your 2012.
