Mt. Buninyong Winery, just 25 minutes south of Ballarat, heading toward Geelong is a destination that has to be on your list for anytime of the year, but particularly leading up to and across the holiday season.  This is more than just a cellar door, it’s a place where you can indulge in tasting exceptional table wines and an excellent range of fortified wines including Ports, Muscat, Liqueurs and the Family reserve Tokay.  But the tasting isn’t limited to wines, good and all as they may be; Mt. Buninyong Winery also carries an impressive range of local produce.  Imagine not only tasting, but taking home such goodies as Chilli Vinegar, Organic walnuts and oil, herbal teas, Chevre and marinated goats cheese and a lot more with new products being added regularly. This winery offers everything for the traveller and explorer – enjoy a picnic while you commune with nature.

Mt Buninyong Winery is very easy to find at 205 Platts Road, Scotsburn – turn at the Scotsburn Primary School and travel 2.2km and you’ll find it – just ignore the No Through Road sign.   You can also pick up Mt.
