New Kid in Farmers Markets

BALLAN FARMERS MARKET                 Farmers Markets have become a world wide phenomena and they’re great.  Run well, they enjoy a fantastic following of consumers looking for fresh, healthy produce that in most cases has only travelled a few kilometers instead of a world tour.  One of the new kids on the block is the Ballan Farmers Market, which enjoyed a very successful debut on 12th November.  Currently in the car park at Mill Cottage in the main street of Ballan, it may move when it grows too big for its present location – and grow it certainly will, but for now it occupies a cosy spot behind one of Ballan’s newest and exciting eating places, not to mention the fabulous craft shop.
